Wicklewood Youth Club

We need your help! The Youth Club is currently suspended due to lack of adult volunteers. If you can help please click on the e-mail link at the bottom of the page and request further information.

Wicklewood Youth Club is affiliated to Youth Clubs UK and in run entirely by volunteers. It receives no financial help from any other organisations or councils not even the local parish council. It is funded by weekly subscriptions from the members and the generosity of the helpers who give up their time for free. The club caters for the 10-16 years age group, and welcomes members from the local area.

Meetings are held in the Wicklewood Village Hall on Monday evenings from 7pm until 9pm.

Activities include table tennis, pool, snooker, football etc. Occasionally, when volunteers come forward, the members are given the chance to try new sports such as Archery. We are always looking for new activities and suggestions are welcome.

On club nights the members receive regular visits from Norfolk Youth and Community Service staff. These officers give help and advice to the members on topics such as drugs, sex, smoking and relationships. The local police community liason officer also attends as often as possible.

The Youth Club has full support from the Parish Council, who support it's work with the local young people.
