War Time Wicklewood

This picture shows an American B24 Liberator K-Bar The Shark of the 67th B.S 44th B.G over Wicklewood during wartime. The photo of the Shark was taken on a practise mission to the manningtree ranges. the aircraft had used Wicklewood to form up the formation, this photo was taken from the lead aircraft that fly a set pattern using Wicklewood as the set point.
Another wartime picture of a cottage just outside Wicklewood on the B1135 road. The cottage is still there, but the roofline has been modified.
